Coles College: A Leader in Innovative Business Education
Kennesaw State is having a special celebration this week, when the namesake of the Michael J. Coles College of Business comes to campus for Executive in Residence Day. We are excited to host Mr. Coles, whose storied career in business — as an Atlanta business executive, entrepreneur, education advocate, philanthropist, and respected public speaker — has been a model of what the Coles College of Business aspires to instill in its students.
Make no mistake, KSU’s Coles College of Business has emerged as a highly respected and pivotal leader of traditional and nontraditional business-related education. With an undergraduate enrollment of more than 6,000 and close to 600 graduate students, the College is among the top 2 percent of business schools worldwide that maintain accreditation in both business and accounting by AACSB International, the world’s largest accreditation association for business schools.
And every year, the recognition for excellence pours in from respected sources, including national and international honors for degrees, such as the executive MBA (ranked first in Georgia and seventh in the world by CEO Magazine); the online MBA (ranked 19th nationwide by U.S. News and World Report); the Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business program (ranked in the top 15 nationwide by Billboard magazine); and information security and assurance (ranked first in online cybersecurity degrees by CyberDegrees.org).
An entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with a strong focus on students, makes the Coles College of Business an attractive place to learn the business skills that Michael J. Coles exemplifies. We appreciate his continued support and look forward to welcoming him to campus this week.
