Welcome Home Owl Nation

This week we celebrate Homecoming 2019, as we combine a celebration of our special football team with the chance for students, alumni, faculty and staff to acknowledge the connection and commitment we all feel toward KSU.

Homecoming Spirit Competitions, concerts and service projects are scheduled to bring together campus student groups all week long and celebrate being an Owl.

In addition, we will be welcoming many alumni back to the Nest to both recall fond memories of their own time at Kennesaw State and to experience the energy on campus and see the continued evolution of the institution since their graduation. We’ll also be hosting a record number of family members during Parents and Family Weekend, for which there will be a dedicated parents section at the game who plan to cheer as loudly as the student section (Good luck out-cheering our spirited students!).

The festivities culminate on Saturday with the Homecoming Parade, the Homecoming Court presentation, and a key gridiron matchup against Charleston Southern. In just the fifth season of our KSU football program, the team is working toward a third straight conference title. Also in their fifth season are the 256 members of the highly talented Marching Owls band who will be there to help cheer on the team and entertain fans. Our band members are a true representation of KSU students, with members from multiple disciplines across both campuses.

Homecoming promises to be an unforgettable week for our students, alumni, and the entire university community. Join me in showing your pride for Kennesaw State and welcoming Owl Nation home!
